TROY OTTMERS – MANAGING PARTNER // TROY@LOSTDRAWCELLARS.COM

Troy is a true Fredericksburg native whose family was among the settlers that founded the city in 1846. Growing up and living in the Gillespie County for over 50 years has made Troy a familiar face in and around the community. He and his wife, Karlene, devote most of their time to their church, the community and a variety of non-profit organizations. Lost Draw Cellars is located on the same property where his family business, Ottmers Oil Company, was located for over 85 years. This property is known by many locals as simply “The Warehouse.” Troy’s love for fellowship and community has inspired him to provide a place where locals and visitors can come together and share a quality Texas wine. Troy named his favorite wine Gemutlichkeit because he felt like it embodied the spirit of this German community that he loves.
